We are engineers, environmental scientists, attorneys and natural resource management professionals.
Bryan is a Professional Engineer and Professional Hydrologist and the President of Lotic Solutions in Austin, TX. Bryan has managed a variety of water resources related projects including watershed studies/assessments, H&H design and analysis, stormwater management and permitting, stream restoration, and BMP/remediation design. He has worked as a riverbank stabilization/ restoration technical lead and engineer of record on some of the larger contaminated river sites in the U.S., completed well over 200,000 feet of stream restoration design/ construction and hundreds of miles of stream geomorphic assessments. His broad background has proven to be a strong asset in managing multidisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers. His PhD work is currently advancing the fields of dendrochronology and engineering by pioneering methods of using the exposed roots of trees as a primary tool for assessment of riverbank erosion and sediment entrainment rates, as well as its use for estimating erosion rates used in watershed, TMDL, sediment and climate change modeling.
Ian is a technical expert, senior consultant, environmental attorney and project manager in water and natural resources projects, specifically stream restoration, natural resource investigations, bioengineering, stormwater, erosion control, ecological restoration design, channel stability analysis, and regulatory compliance and permitting. He has over ten years of experience providing a wide variety of technical services including regulatory compliance management, stormwater permitting and design, river stability assessments, hydraulics and hydrological assessments, ecological engineering, stream restoration design, project management, regulatory negotiation, wetlands delineation and permitting, erosion control design and permitting and watershed assessments. As an environmental attorney, Ian has assisted on expert witness teams on high-profile litigation involving hydrologic trespass, site contamination and nuisance claims.
Andrew is a water resources engineer, technical expert and project manager for Lotic Solutions. Andrew has extensive experience in biological and ecological engineering, stream restoration/relocation, riverbank stabilization, sediment transport analysis, fluvial geomorphology, stormwater management, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling/analysis, emergency action plans for high hazard dams and watershed studies/assessments. Mr. Wilson has a wide range of modeling experience including natural channel, sediment transport, stormwater management, watershed, and hydraulic and hydrologic modeling. He has also provided expert witness support on projects involving stormwater, hydrologic trespass and hydrological modifications. Mr. Wilson has worked on some of the larger contaminated river sites in the U.S. providing technical assistance and design of riverbank stabilization, fate and transport of contaminated sediments, and geomorphology assessments. He has been involved in numerous stream restoration and realignment projects using natural channel design to stabilize and restore streams throughout the U.S.
